The Droplet, designed for Qtel, was one of their most popular products due to its variability. Over 2000 units were sold under the name QMS (Queue Management System) to blood diagnostic centers, oil companies, and other government facilities.

The design specifications required the product to be compact, featuring two major components: an 8-inch touchscreen and a receipt printer. To cover most of the features, we utilised a branded tablet PC alongside Qtel’s transactional quality token printer. These components had preset ergonomic requirements, presenting a major challenge in designing the outer box. The box needed to comfortably fit and service the components while meeting aesthetic standards. My role in this project was to bring a creative outlook to the box design, ensuring it was meaningful and producible using basic sheet metal bending tools
